My team has hit the ground running with Kelce injured whom I used the 4th pick for. I did pick up Juwan Johnson off of waivers, but was considering Everett or even Musgrave. Every year I get burned by not getting a good TE early and I wasn't going to let that happen.

Lets use this thread to bounce off idea off each other.

Another year where I go into the draft telling myself I'll reach for a really good QB instead of relying on streaming the whole season. Thought I had a shot at Josh Allen but he went 2 picks in front of me. Then set my sights on Justin Herbert and was getting ready to take him a few rounds before he was projected and someone snapped him up. So I had to debate between Counsins and Goff at the end of the draft. Looks like it will be Kirk and streaming for me this year.

Thats another thing I have picked up on over the years, it seems like the teams in my league that have waited do better, I didn't take a QB until the 10th and got Watson and took Tua in the 13th.

I'm going to try and stream DST this year and just pick whomever is playing the Cardinals.

I did that last year, its a good strategy but seemed to work about half the time for me.

I'm  rolling with Everett this season. He's been a redzone target for Herbert in the past. And Kellen Moore got a lot of mileage out of Dalton Schultz in Dallas.

Nothing wrong with Juwan Johnson or Musgrave. I think all 3 are guys who could finish in the final top 3.

The good news is Kelce should be back next week and no wr proved to be a solid target for the chiefs on Thursday.he should have a huge return

Looks like Puka Nacua is going to be a big add on the WW. I also plan on putting a claim on Gainwell. I already have Swift, who only got 1 carry but  not ready to give up on him yet.

The Dallas D is most likely going to be the 2nd highest scoring "player" in our league this week.

Tyler Algier would be a good one.  He's going to probably lose carries as the year goes on, but right now they are as super heavy run team, so there is room for two RBs.  Kyren Williams and Kenneth Gainwell would be the other two I'd look at, but I'm not sure either can be a work horse.

I have Dobbins at RB and he's out for the season. Any good WW pickup suggestions at RB?

Kenneth Gainwell, or if Gus Edwards is there

Roll with Cousins on Thursday or stream Carr, Mayfield, or maybe Mac Jones? First off, I hate playing anyone other than superstars on Thursday nights. Those games are generally crap. He'll be on the road against a pretty good defense and even with a nice point total he really didn't look good on Sunday. My other options just seem so bleh though.

Definite no on Cousins tomorrow night in Philly...Vikings in general have a brutal recent history there, and their Oline is not going to give their QB much time to do anything of significant fantasy value.  I think it'd be a coinflip as to Mayfield or Jones putting up more fantasy points, but the Dolphins got abused in the run game last week so I'd probably lean towards Mayfield at home against what appears to be a pretty awful Bears team.

Guess I'm sticking with Cousins tonight. Looking at the other options I think they're all about equal chance to bust and Kirk at least has the possibility of garbage time numbers. Maybe the Thursday night craziness will work in my favor and Philly will crap the bed.

Decided at the last minute to start swift and bench Pacheco. I love having some action on Thursday’s to follow and with gainwell out swift should get the lions share of the Carrie’s. If he can’t, there is no reason for me to keep him anymore

Your garbage time production call proved very correct....although there's also some thursday night craziness going on, too.

I don't think the Vikings can run the ball even against bad run defenses, so assuming Kirk doesn't get knocked out by blindside rusher through that sieve of an Oline, he's going to put up huge passing #s
