Everything I’ve read states clutch hitting is a mirage, but it sure seems lately the Brewers are making it a thing.

Well you gotta understand its a low average team, I would expect them to also be bad with RISP.  What's surprising is the amount of double plays they hit into given how few baserunners they get.

Need to keep a stat on %DP per chance.

It would be great to know which teams have the highest (or lowest) percentage of RISP actually score.

Brewers actually have better than league-average stats with RISP. .775 OPS versus .756 for the league as a whole. Score a run 36.5% of plate appearances versus 34.1% for the league.

Is Monasterio our most impactful rookie in 2023?

He was nowhere on the radar when the year started

What a pleasant surprise he has been

Will there be a utility role for him next year?

Thanks. Where did you find that stat. I looked but couldn’t find it.

So the whining about it absolutely is a mirage.

Baseball reference under the batting splits tab. Wish they had all teams individually listed but they don't. Only league as a whole but then have to go to Brewers page to compare.
