CC is the best manager in baseball. Our front office is awesome.

But I have no idea why we are playing two players short on the bench. I like Brian Anderson, but he is a mascot at this point. It's weird.

Aaaand it looks like the Brewers will have to score runs to win. That's harder than it sounds.

One team gets a leadoff single and the guy scores. The other team can't even get him to 2nd base.  So frustrating.

I think the Brewers are going to put up runs tonight. Going to take 5 or 6 to win, I'd say. Feels like an offense kind of night.

I doubt it.    At some point this offense is going to go on a bad stretch.      Because it just isn’t good.      I’m hoping to hold off as long as possible

Great pitching has overcome a AAA level lineup but I question how much longer it can continue.

If you were a fan of another team and you look at the Brewers position players who would you want besides Contreras and Frelick.

On the plus side, Rom's throwing a lot of hittable pitches (one to Donaldson, two to Tyrone, and two more to Monasterio). On the minus side, the Brewers are doing absolutely nothing with those pitches.

Oh stop it. A 118 wRC+ is not "mediocre". 

Any contender would love to have him in their lineup. Even the Braves, who currently have Eddie Rosario playing there.

He's been good as a Brewer but his total season has been nothing special.

That is for the whole season. For comparison, the mighty Braves currently have Eddie Rosario playing in LF, who has a 108 wRC+.

I think any team would want a guy who has the 4th highest OBP of players above 1500 At bats since 2019ish.  He is vastly underrated as he does everything average.  He is a true, professional hitter.  We have 4 in the lineup tonight (Frelick/Contreras/Monasterio/Canha).  Those are the only 4 in this lineup, even when slumping, that you can hope for any production from. Other guys are either hot or cold.

If we're talking about the entire season, any contender would be thrilled with Yelich's production, too, for that matter.
