Non Tendered Players that Interest You

Digging through all the non tendered players being reported tonight, there's some interesting names I think the Brewers should take a look at.

1B/DH Juan Yepez

RP Josh Staumont

RP Jovani Moran

RP Albert Abreu

RP Lou Trivino

SP Spencer Turnbull

 

What non tender names do you think the Brewers should look at?

Kyle Lewis intrigues me.  He was rookie of the year in 2020 but just can NOT stay healthy.

Probably strictly a DH, but if the guy could stay healthy, he might be worth looking into.

Andrew Knizner for backup catcher

Turnbull would be a good one too

Brandon Woodruff has ace stuff when healthy, shoulder surgery last year but if he is able to come back in the second half of 2024, could anchor a rotation.

Austin Meadows but it would depend on where he's at with his mental health recovery.

Nick Senzel only if he faces LHP that is.

I don't think it's good right now. They went April to at least October with no contact with him.

Angel Perdomo would be nice to have back as a 2nd lefty. I like Jovani Moran but I think he is out most of the year so probably not. If we are really serious about Bauers playing 1st maybe Juan Yepez as a platoon. Kyle Lewis was really good in AAA so maybe. Nola or Knizner as a backup catcher.

I'd be interested in Mike Ford or Juan Yepez as some 1b depth. Both are more interesting to me than Jake Bauers and are optionable (unlike Bauers)

I think Perdomo had TJ surgery late last year, so he’s likely to miss the year.
