I don't have a good feeling about this one.

I was in NY over the weekend, so I followed the Seattle games online. It's real easy to be excited about this team. 

Made my first visit to this Yankee Stadium. Other than seeing Stanton hit a grand slam bomb, the experience was poor. Got there before the game started, by about 15 minutes. The lines to get through the metal detectors wound around the stadium. Got to our seats in the bottom of the 3rd. Long lines for concessions and for the bathroom. Concourse was jammed. I like to walk around a stadium when I visit for the first time. Had to give up. Plus, for most of the walk, you cannot see the field like you can in other parks. Paying for parking sure was easy, though. All $47 of it. Wanted to ask the guy in the Voit jersey how he felt about his purchase.

Anyone know how he's been throwing in practice or in simulated games? I guess we'll know soon enough how he's feeling.

Did fine in his AAA start the other day. Velo is still lacking.

CBA duplicating the post, but Ashcraft is hittable, and that cutter command looked poor his first start. Yelich has been monstering anything resembling a meatball so far, and if Ashby can just keep the crew in it and keep the ball on the ground, I think there's a decent chance today

That's the big concern. After the work he turned in this spring, I thought he could be a positive addition--but not until maybe June sometime. Hope he surprises me.

If we can get 4 innings of 3 runs or less from Ashby tonight, I'll be happy.

Just needs to keep things on the ground if he's going to give up hard contact, which I suspect he will due to his still diminished velocity.
