Can we just trade Mitchell and Wiemer and Black and Myers and Dunn and maybe a Clark or Ashby for some combo of Crochet/Fedde/Kopech/Jimenez/Robert?

2011….he had a walk-off sac fly in the game right before All-Star break. Must have got his hit after the break at some point…

I knew the White Sox weren't doing very well, but holy schnikes, they're 15-42, a .263 winning percentage, That's barely better than the Brewers' batting average.

10-13 when Fedde or Crochet start (.435 W%) versus 5-29 (.147 W%) when anyone else starts.

This series should be at least as easy as the one last June against the A’s who came in here with a record of 14-50.

It's funny that with that win pct, they would still only be 70-92 over a full season with those two starting. Plus, they might get tired, starting every other game.

Old Hoss Radbourn scoffs at the puny weaklings passing themselves off as pitchers these days.

All getting swept in that series ultimately did was prevent the Brewers from winning the division by ten games.

Played in 75 of his team's 114 games. 678 innings, 60 wins, a 1.38 ERA, 440 Ks, only 18 homers, 0.922 WHIP. Pitched every single inning of the three games in the Providence Grays' sweep over the Mets in the World Series, allowing no earned runs.

Omg.   Ashby.   I forgot about hIm

we really have a bunch of names that are on a roster but really just never play for the brewers.

Have to take care of business this weekend against the White Sox.  End the homestand on a high note before heading back onto the road.

Ashby can't play for 3 months straight without getting hurt though.

You could substitute Ashby for a lot of brewers names.   Heck forget about the brewers.  It’s pretty much the modern day athlete.   In any sport

Waiting for his reference to that same team sweeping the eventual WS champs on the road. While waiting I'll take care not to trip over my long, white beard.
