Herget has looked decent every time we have seen him. This team is very athletic. Great help when chasing flyballs.

I prefer him over Thyago Vieira & Mitch White

Two fly balls were hit deep to the warning track … glad it’s not July

Anybody foresee “Entering June With A Six Game Division Lead And A Top Three Offense In Baseball” looking into their crystal ball two months ago?

Brewers are currently leading all of MLB in batting average (.259) & OBP (.335) -  plus they are 2nd in runs scored (94) & 3rd in stolen bases (76) as we enter June

If the Dodgers score fewer than 7 runs tonight (none through 4), we will finish May behind only the Phillies in runs scored on the season.

But Murphy can't set a lineup.

And the Dodgers have played two more games than the Brewers

You could argue they are being held back a bit by his poor lineup choices. That said credit to the crew for quality work.

Pat, he's bad at baseball. Why is he still starting? Why is he batting 5th?

But Rhys Hoskins Just came off the DL who else can play 1st? Bauers and Hoskins. Ya gotta think about that

Maybe we should give Keston Heuria a call or Rowdy Telez.

Me, but I always expect them to be the best day in and day out!

Box Score Leaders:

Yellach 5 for 6

Turang 3 for 5

Contreras 3 for 5 with 1 walk

Frelick 3 for 4 with 2 walks

Ortiz 2 hits

Hoskins 2 hits

Bauers 2 hits

Perkins 2 hits

And still people are complaining about Murphy? Wow, do they even watch the games or are they Cub fans here in disguise sowing disinformation?

Hopefully McGill is feeling better and ready if needed.

Who is this McGill you speak of?

Joey Ortiz ops+ of 154. He's been watching Oliver Dunn ops+ 75. This cost the Brewers several wins easy.

I don't know about several wins, but it surely cost us something...

Yes that was a joke, Telez hitting .177 with 1 HR.

It appears Trevor Megill and the Milwaukee Brewers dodged a bullet.

Having taken one off his right forearm – a 99.4 mph line drive off the bat of Mike Tauchman in the 10th inning. "These little pain pads they give us, they do wonders," Megill said. "It could be a lot worse."

I definitely thought Murphy should have been playing Ortiz with more regularity earlier than he did, but even then the Brewers have gone 12-5 in the 17 games Dunn has started at 3B.

Maybe one or two more wins, sure, but several would be hard to pull off from a starting point of 12-5.

I think Ortiz has surprised everyone being only 25 and never a regular in the MLB.  But I will repeat an old saying "Show the Coach" and and he is the leadoff hitter today, so Murphy knows what's up.  I liked Dunn early in the year also, So Murphy made some good changes.

Murphy is a coach not a fortune teller and you don't get the answers before questions.
