My goodness... Jose Anderson just hit his fourth homer of the season. 2-3 with a BB and a K so far today. OPS sitting at a reasonable 1.672

Trailing 5-1 heading to the 7th, the DSL Cerveceros Dos put up a game-tying 4-spot. They now have two on in the top of the 8th and are threatening again. The game is still knotted at 5-5 with the DSL Tampa Bay squad. No outs. Let's hope they can squeak out a 'W' and steal this one.

It's not just a 4th HR either. 2 on. 2 out. Trailing by 3 in the money making innings. He tied that puppy up. Incredible early work from this young man! He's also not chasing these. 5 K: 3 BB in his 22 AB's so far. What a glorious sample! I'll take a Flight of this type of work!😅

Back to Anderson, I personally think striving for 1 HR/5.5 AB is a very attainable and low-hanging goal. Just put it on a post-it note on the locker. Done. 😁

C Kevin Garcia just smacked his 3rd HR in just his 10th official AB giving the DSL Crew Uno a much-needed insurance run. 3-1 game. My goodness.

Recently discovered that some of the DSL kids have TikTok's that they post video on. Not much of a TikTok guy, but now I'm using it to try to find video of some of them lol. Wenderlyn has posted some video on his. Appears to be fastball, slider, changeup.

Anderson just singled home another. 3-for-4 day with 4 RBI. DSL Dos took advantage: 10-5 headed to the bottom of the 8th.

These DSL kids have been a joy to follow so far. Do they typically play the entire season down there and then come up the following season and start in the ACL or could we see some of these guys moved up soon?

Not to go unnoticed, Luis Pena with a ho-hum 2-3 including a double and 2 more steals. Now sitting at 15/15 on stolen bases through 7 games lol. More walks than strikeouts on the year so far.  Insane starts for a lot of these guys...

They’ve been overshadowed, but Garcia, Rojas and Corobo have all given them really good production from the catcher spot so far.

Gregory Barrios back in the lineup today as a DH for Wisconsin is nice to see.

Anybody else miss DH/SS Gregory Barrios (.767 OPS in 188 PAs) over the past ~11 days? Is RHP KC Hunt (1 ER with 17 Ks over last 12 IP) the next coming of Shane Smith? High-A Wisconsin looks to go up 2-1 at West Michigan, with Cedar Rapids 2.5 games behind in the battle for first place.

I like this line-up tonight. I really like RHP K.C. Hunt. The biggest start of his young affiliated career. I have faith he'll throw an absolute gem - Hunt is built for this kind of thing. I firmly believe it. He has the tools. He absolutely knows he has the tools. He is filled with confidence and self-belief on that mound. I sincerely hope we see greatness tonight.
