I am going to be atypically uninvolved in today's 'Game Thread'. It is my birthday and I have wifey and kiddo events on the docket. I will be checking back in, however, after my dinner date to dive into a gift to myself: Minor League viewings and a Minor League report.

Here's hoping we get some victories and inspired performances across the board!

Happy birthday! I'm sure you would love a 5-0 minor league day as a present. Enjoy the wife and kids.

Thanks y'all. Another year passes and this biscuit simply gets crustier. My days of 'rising up' as it twere are far from the Montgomery dugout. BUT, a fine night shall be had and hopefully even finer Minor League results.

JB Bukauskas spotting on the complex.

Threw a scoreless third inning (1 H | 1 K).

Zona Crew trail the Dodgers 1 to 0 bottom of four though Tyler Rodriguez has just walked and stolen second with one out (if GameDay is to be trusted).

& whaddya know?? Throwing error on a pickoff attempt and a sac fly from Johan Barrios brings Tyler Rodriguez around to score and even things up at one apiece,

Ismael Yanez walking the tightrope to put up a pair of zeroes down in the desert working around a pair of walks in the fourth, and a walk, single & two stolen bases in the fifth.

Jesus Flores goes six up six down (2 K) over the sixth and seventh innings to pick up his second save of the ACL season and preserve the 2 to 1 Zona Crew victory.

That’s a really nice way for Josh Adamczewski, Jesus Flores and the team to end their season.

It will be interesting to see what happens now. Will we see several promotions to Low-A Carolina? Or will the organization prioritize the Unofficial Arizona Extended Summer League?

Hopefully Adamczewski and Bitonti for position players and the two Jesuses (Broca & Flores) get the call up to Carolina.

Tyler Rodriguez had a nice year too, and Johan Barrios came on strong at the end, but not sure either did enough to really push the envelope.

23-year old RHP Bradley Blalock (4.39 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, 7.8 K/9 in 69.2 IP) gets the start for AA Biloxi, which needs a win at Pensacola to even the series 1-1. CF Carlos D. Rodriguez has an 8-game hitting streak, 1B Ernesto Martinez Jr. 7 games.

Low-A Carolina has won 5 straight games and seeks a 2-0 series lead at Salem. He may be the youngest pitcher in the Carolina League by over 100 days, but 18-year old RHP Enniel Cortez (2.81 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, 11.3 K/9 in 16 IP) has held his own thus far. CF Yophery Rodriguez has a 1.000 OPS in 54 PAs this month.

Rehabbing RHP Joe Ross aims for a bounce back outing (8 ER in 4 IP five days ago) and AAA Nashville needs a home win over Charlotte to knot the series. LF Isaac Collins leads the Sounds in hits, doubles, triples and OBP.

High-A Wisconsin trails at Beloit 1 game to 0 and looks to 20-year old Yujanyer Herrera (3.00 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, 10.6 K/9 in 63 IP) to continue his breakout campaign. LF Jheremy Vargas returns to action after departing Sunday’s game early.

What happened to Yopheri?

Pulled up about halfway to first base on a grounder in the 1st inning. Looked to be the right hamstring that was bothering him.

Carlos Rodriguez came on after Devin Williams in the 8th inning. A bit bizarre because I don't think he would have any sort of innings limit/restriction as he's only on pace for about 10-20 at most more IP than last season.

I'm going to have to go and watch but Yerlin Rodriguez just had his best inning of the season. Struck out the side in 12 pitches to finish the 7-3 win for Wisconsin.
