Adames trade in lieu of Yelich prob out for year

Are we more apt to trade Adames now if the right deal is there?  I say yes, as I don’t see us going far without Yelich.   Still prob 50/50 to win the division even if we trade Adames.   
 

I know it’s looking like he’s not a 3B maybe, but we need to see what we have in Tyler Black too and this would open up an IF spot for him (could also play 1b with Hoskins dh more potentially).

6 games up, definitely not happening in light of Hader trade. Adames is way more irreplaceable to this team than Hader was. Both on, where he's their best player by fWAR, and off the field, where he's the heart and soul of the locker room. FO has also repeatedly said they've learned from trading Hader.

I don’t believe the Brewers will trade Adames.

Now if Yelich is out for the year maybe Robert or Vlad jr could be possible.  Not sure the Jays will trade Vlad.  Would definitely do something like Black/Quero plus to get Vlad.

He's not getting traded.  We need him more now than ever.  As stated, the FO learned their lesson with Hader.  

Just as important...I think they recognize the impact he has had on Chourio and now is not the time to mess with his development.

I think it's opposite.  Now that Yelich is shelved, I think we ride Adames off into the sunset, and try and add another bat.  Losing Yelich and trading Adames would only weaken the offense further, unless we got real bats back for Adames that can help us now.  I don't see that happening.

Trading Adames now isn't going to happen based on the Hader trade alone, much less now that Yelich is going to be out for a LENGTHY time.

We aren't going to get much more than a comp pick in value to trade him. Why make another hole in the lineup. On top of the negative fan sentiment, Adames every day leadership is needed.

What if Bobby Miller is in play ?  Way better than the 38th pick of the 2025 draft even if we have to give a reliever or two more.

Yelich reported last night that he didn’t see a “ spine specialist “ as was reported……same doctor he’s been seeing and they have a plan for rehab……not that surgery won’t happen after the season but seems like media jumped to a few conclusions……or had bad info.
