On the season Corobo has now caught 19 of 40 potential base stealers. That's a 47.5% CS-rate compared to the DSL average 24.1% CS-rate.

That was a key victory for the DSL Cerveceros Uno. Their divisional foes, the DSL Orioles Orange, have won 6 straight (they've also played three more games). The Crew Uno stayed 1.5 GB of first place.

He was hacked! He was hacked! Oh wait...

Also seemingly increasingly possible he may end up pitching for the Big League Club if they can't get healthy/get some of these guys right.

I've given up a bit on Ashby, but...now Megill down, Hudson. Luckily Williams looked great last night, but Mis for 2-3 innings the last month and then potentially into the playoffs might not be the worst thing in the world.

In a perfect world there is no restrictions or inning limits on Miz or Yoho and they thrive in late summer and play meaningful innings. Will this happen? No clue. Do I want it to happen? Absolutely YES.

(This scenario also assumes Miz benefits greatly from promotion and harnesses his stuff with new coaching and better catching)

I'm torn. I want to see the best possible rotation out there...but I also think Misiorowski's ceiling is SO astronomically high as a starter, I just hope even if he comes up, dominates, they don't "settle" for him as a reliever.

As for Yoho...yeah, no real danger there, but we're already running up against 40-man limitations. That's my real concern. But Wiemer is now off along with Junis...so couple spots opening and I'd guess a couple more.

Should it come to pass, Misiorowski in the big league pen would not mean they have given up on him as a starter. His innings will be a constraint no matter what, and he is already past his career high. With 70 last year, they're likely targeting 120 as a hard cap, maybe even fewer?  Two starts in AAA gets him to about 90 and then 20-30 big league innings out of the pen?

Remember, too, that the Brewers have done this before. Burnes and Woody out of the pen in 2018 was not only successful but a glimpse of better things to come.

Am I remembering right that Quero was brought up when discussing Corobo's signing? He's been overshadowed a bit but this sure has the feel of a Quero box score...
