Were those kids there.  That’s why no one asks rougher questions

"Pat, a lot of us were surprised when Tobias came out of the game with only 64 pitches. The question that's on all of our minds is, 'what flavor of ice cream do you like best?' "

Michael Scott at Toby's exit interview - who do you think you are? What gives you the right?

Think this begins an extended losing streak for the Crew.  Can easily see the Brewers getting the sweep for the first time this season in a 3 game series by the Braves.

I believe they were swept in Philly earlier this year. However, they still have not lost 4 games in a row all season. They certainly are not playing well right now, but that happens to every team at some point in the season. The Phillies and Dodgers both had losing records in July as well. This team has been very resilient all season and I expect that will continue

You are correct on the Phillies series.  Forgot about that one.

Other than Chourio ,  when was the last non pitcher that came up that we drafted and made a big impact! Seems as though we have good glove guys but that bats don't do as well!

Lucroy must be one.  Mitchell had an impact.

I'd love to agree with this, but this team is running on fumes.

What about this team makes you think things can get better?  The afterthought starting rotation? The lackluster offense?  The overused bullpen?  The in over his head manager?

You are right, every team goes through this, but a lot of those teams are just better than the Brewers.  You bring up the Phillies and Dodgers, but their rosters don't even come close to comparing to ours.  We know those teams will rebound based on the talent up and down the roster.  Our team is lacking in so many areas that a rebound is far from a given.

If I had to answer right now I would say this team is not going to win 90 games. However, I doubt that any of the Cardinals, Pirates, Reds or Cubs are either, so stumbling our way to the division title is still possible.

I agree, but the Cards have been known in the past to put together several 10 game win streaks at the end of the season. In 2021 they had a 17 game win streak. So they still worry me just because of the history.

Khris Davis had an OPS of .809 for the Brewers and hit 60 homers in 362 games for the Brewers.
