Not trying to do something with the Bauers/hoskins thing at deadline is just baffling.    We need real players in the playoffs.

Hoskins is going to be back next year too, there's just no way around it because of the player option, but the roster spots of Bauers and Monasterio need to be upgraded.

Turang has had a really nice offensive series. Didn't get on there, but you can't ask for much better contact on a lefty/lefty matchup.

I welcome Hoskins back. I think he'll be back to normal next year.

And Turang smokes one...Iglessias with a Turang-like play(he could be one of those guys who replaces one of the roster spots as...I don't think people are looking at him as a .337 type hitter).

No bunting Jackson.

There's a lot of times I think where they show it for a pitch or two with no real intent to do it. I don't mind that. Keep them guessing.

If he gets it down, it's a base hit.

I know everyone will push back on this idea but I’d love to see Yelich DH & play 1B next year with occasional OF relief should we have an injury or one of the regulars needs a day off

He would essentially replace Bauers & that would be a considerable upgrade

I think the issue with it right now is that you're taking the bat out of the hands of one of hottest hitter who could just as easily take out one.

Contreras? Adames? Hoskins? Anybody there?

The kids have carried us to this point. You need to contribute. Do something good.

A base hit is a base hit.

Try it on the first strike. If you don't get a hit, then swing away.

Not everyone. People have been wondering about this for years but it still hasn't happened. The Brewers or Yelich don't want to do this. It makes all the sense in the world if Yelich can play the position but clearly they're not going to go that route.

Also puts him behind in the count.

Yelich needs to play 1st but then Brewers need another power hitting outfielder. Adames power has to be replaced. See what Frelick can bring.

A base hit is a base hit, but it's not a home run.
