Never forget Sal would have been in the NFL if not for baseball. If not here we have Christian McCaffrey 2.0 Football highlights video.

We think of Sal as a tough guy because he plays like a guy who has robot legs.  He also wears biggest outfield glove worn in baseball hands down . It is like he wears a 8 month old baby on his catching hand when outfielding.      It makes him special and I love his giant glove. Whatever it takes to bring Golden Gloves home each season( I bet he wins 10 Golden Gloves in the MLB before he is done!)        We also hear a lot about his Hockey play time as reasons for him being that tough.     (YOHO just struck out the side like a BOSS! )   WE tend to forget that Sal was a 5 star recruit in football too.  He had a free ride as a Running back for BC if he chose to go that route in his career.       If he had not chosen baseball we would already be seeing him on Sundays.

With his size? No, he wouldn't have. Definitely not as a QB at least.

Re-read… Running Back recruit.

That said…I can’t find him at all when searching the Rivals and 247Sports football recruiting databases. 5* guy…not even close.

I really posted this video to show a major thing with Sal.   In the report in the video Sal  was 5'9'' 167lbs in HIGH SCHOOL .  So we are seeing Sal has gained not one pound since his Junior season in High School until apparently this past offseason...

Sal probably not getting any bigger .
