One thing to potentially watch for from Jesus Made is he hasn't been getting the bat off his shoulder an awful lot. He's not Luke Adams, but he hasn't been aggressive either and It's trending downwards of late towards that Adams/Wilken level

It seems like everyone on that team gets to a 3-2 count in every at bat (outside of Pena). Would like to see everyone be a bit more aggressive.

It may have been a stomach bug but still no sign of RHP Bryce Meccage scheduled this week since leaving his last start early:

Hopefully, it's nothing too serious for the young flamethrower! Maybe, we'll see him piggy back out of the Pen? Maybe he's Mr. TBD Sunday?

Oh boy

Yeah hopeful it is nothing more than a GI viral thing and maybe felt poorly and drained, he needed time to ramp back up - didn't we have a pitcher (maybe in the bigs) last year who lost weight from a GI bug and was IL'd due to it??

But certainly makes anyone worry when young pitchers disappear of the schedule like that.

Could just be the piggyback for Flores today. He and Flores have piggybacked together this year.

Yeah that's what I'm hoping. Current weather shows 50% chance of T-Storms and showers through the evening hours. We may not find out tonight, regardless.

LHP Brandon Knarr was moved to the full season IL today. Man, when is the last time he was healthy enough to pitch in a competitive game? Early 2023? I guess he did try to get back via some ACL rehab outings last season. I feel for the young man. It has been a true grind to try amd get back. Can not be easy.

Don’t expect to see Logan Henderson on the MILB side this week.

Who will sa-a-ave your season, if you won’t..….save your own…..la da da da da da……

Looks like that weather in Zebulon has skipped town until tomorrow by my glances at the regional radar. We 'should' have baseball tonight. Maybe we see Josh Adamczewski back in the line up some time this week. That would be a significant return to the line up. I'm not counting on it, however. Backs can be oh so tricky to get right.

Oh man that is funny. Uncanny. I almost wonder if I didn't scan the radars in Zebulon, Georgia! 😅

I mean the weather probably did clear. The game was postponed due to field conditions not inclement weather

First place Biloxi is in Montgomery this week to face the Rays’ AA affiliate. RHP KC Hunt (5.40 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, 7.8 K/9 in 26.2 IP) is still searching for his dominant 2024 form. Here’s 3B Brock Wilken’s slash line over his last 10 games: .382 AVG / .476 OBP / .912 SLG in 42 PAs.

The 23-16 Nashville Sounds welcome INF/OF Bobby Dalbec (1.050 OPS in 48 PAs, with a 2 BB / 16 K ratio; .460 xwOBA according to Statcast, highest in AAA) to the organization. They play at Cardinals’ affiliate Memphis, with Aaron Civale making his 2nd rehab start (4 shutout innings last week).

Can Bobby Dalbec be the answer to the 3rd base black hole at the major league level? Probably not but it is about time we get a pop up guy that can fill a hole off the scrap heap.

High-A Wisconsin (14-19) hosts Marlins’ affiliate Beloit this week, coming off 3 straight series draws but still searching for their first series win. RHP Chandler Welch could use a turnaround (5.72 ERA, 1.84 WHIP, 4.8 K/9 in 28.1 IP). 2B Jadher Areinamo is tied for 3rd in the Midwest League in hits.

I see Nashville also postponed.

Well Biloxi has opened with consecutive singles (Adams and Boeve). Men on the corners. Nobody out. Pratt will try to knock them in. AND,

PRATT SMOKES A HANGER OPPO FOR A 3-0 LEAD.

That's 35 boom sticks for the Southern League leading home run specialists. That was a cutter. Pratt absolutely sat on it and knocked it into the winds blowing out toward RF.
