We've been among the worst teams in baseball over the last decade at drafting and developing hitters.

Frelick and Turang are probably the best that we've done.

There are at least 6 batters have no reason to be on this team. The only problem is one is Yelich. So now he says he has a healthy back. What’s his problem now?

Not enjoyable for them I’m sure, but I’d gladly take it 10 times as a Brewer fan for the trophy they won last year.

Wonder what next season will look like for them with Tatum rehabbing Achillies tendons with Dame.

The issue is we have just royally sucked at drafting and developing big league hitters for the better part of a decade.

Anybody we've had that's been a decent hitter was either traded for or free agent.

But the Twins rook a hit and an RBi away from him by putting a fielder right where he hits the ball 80% of the time.

Thought the same thing as soon as he said it.

Who’s responsibility is that?

Starting to look like a throw away season. These guys can’t hang with anyone. At least last year their defense was a thing of beauty to watch and they kind of could at least hit. This year is… oof.

Another golden sombrero for Chourio. Team is relying on him far too much and I think he feels the pressure. We need to decide are we punting on the year or are we gonna attempt to salvage this season and make some acquisitions.

When you think about it, the Brewers typically have done this during the past few playoff years. They field a team that excels of two of the three things (pitching, defense, hitting). This year the pitching is probably all they have. Defense is shoddy, hitting is atrocious. Pitching, while not stellar, will probably be pretty great this year. Trade them.

The league has figured Chourio out.

Simple. Don't throw the ball over the plate and he'll still get himself out.

Al Laboeuf should be on the hot seat. This is abysmal. Chourio looks worse than he ever did last year and he looked really bad the first two months last season.
