I cannot stress this enough (and I won't repeat the highlights to take away from the callup podcasts awesome work) but the episode with Brenton Del Chiaro is must listen, covering Made, Peña, Bitonti, Adamczewski, Dinges, Zamora, Wilken, Pratt and more.

It is rivetting listening material, you'll find the link in @Jim Goulart's daily media updates. It's totally worth 45 minutes of your time for us nerds in this chat

Yeah it is awesome. Really educated questions, yet again. Honestly, I just love the Brewers org approach with their hitters. Very organic, for lack of a better word.

We are lucky to have Brenton in the org. Really smart guy.

So today is Caleb Durbin's final day as an MLB prospect as it's his 45th day on the MLB roster. Who do we think replaces him in the Pipeline Top 30 list? Adamczewski, Dinges, Hardin feel like good options. Anyone have any other guesses?

Looking at the FanGraphs list Adamczewski (#12), Jorge Quintana (#13), Coleman Crow (#18), Hardin (#19), Dinges (#26), and Tate Kuehner (#29) are the guys not in the MLB Top 30.

Feel like Dinges is the guy MLB will go with, but only because Adamczewski hasn't played in awhile.

Maybe they just go with Coleman Crow because he was #26 on their 2024 list so they don't have to write a new report and can just tack on a little update that he's back on the mound with a handful of solid starts at AA after a long layoff.

Dinges can’t be denied

He was Dinge(s)d early but he's certainly come on harder than any prospect since. I still am giggling at Del Chiaro sharing his 85 mph casual bat speed through the zone. I'd say he is steering his Dingh(es)y through choppy waters but this man is revving a speedboat, babayyyyy.

22-year old RHP Chandler Welch seeks to build off a solid start last week (5 IP, 1 R, 5 Ks in 92 pitches), as Low-A Carolina can clinch a home series victory over Salem tonight. He’s only hitting .214, but RF Tyler Rodriguez has easily the highest OBP (.436) in the lineup.

No Ernesto since he was removed mid game a few days ago.

Unrelated: Wake Forest leads Miami Ohio 14-11 in an NCAA tourney elimination game, with Miami having the bases loaded, nobody out in the bottom of the 9th. Gotta imagine Wilken is tracking.

And they held on 14-13, getting the final 2 outs with 2 men on base.

Wisconsin can clinch a home series win over Peoria behind RHP Jaron DeBerry tonight (3 IP, 3 R, 3 Ks last week in his first High-A appearance). CF Eduardo Garcia has a 1.035 OPS over his last 15 games (64 PAs), with 11 RBIs and 8 SBs.

RHP KC Hunt (5 IP, 1 R, 8 Ks last week) can help AA Biloxi come back from a 3-1 series deficit at Rocket City tonight. The top offense in the Southern League (4.76 runs/game vs. league average 3.87; .720 OPS vs league average .658) needs to wake up.

Levonas the Brewers second rounder last year they failed to sign started the game so that’s a related note.  His freshman year hasn’t been anything for the Brewers to regret not being able to seal the deal.  Maybe he will have a better sophomore campaign.

Not Miz’s night. He is struggling again against Indianapolis. 4 walks, 3 hits and only 2K in his first 3 innings - and had two on with no out in the third. Yikes.

And he walks in two more runs. Still no outs. He’s approaching 70 pitches. Gonna be a start for him to forget.
Just don’t have him start in Indianapolis anymore.

Ok. I’m going to turn off MiLB scoreboard.

I watch mis struggle and it’s a 5-0 deficit in Indianapolis.

And both Hunt and DeBerry give up first inning HRs. Grrrrr.
ok. Ill check scores tomorrow after my trip.
let’s see if someone here can bring some good MiLB mojo tonight.
