Fair call! She mentioned she covers Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and half of Illinois, so good call. Nothing gets by you dude haha

When it comes to knowing things that absolutely don't matter, I'm a good bet to know about it lol

Congratulations to future Bruin Dominic Cadiz ( ) who was named to the

All-Star team today! Take a look at his numbers this summer 👇 .404 AVG (League-high) .724 SLG 7 HR 24 RBI 9 2B (League-high) #GoBruins

‘25 INF Dominic Cadiz of Notre Dame #UCLA commit went 2/4 with a deep shot off the wall in LF. Cadiz gets his hands to the zone early and maintains a level swing through the zone. He displayed his ability to get extension through the ball and drive the ball with some pop.

I could not love this 11-thru-20 approach more. We don't need quantity of players. We need to up-level the FLOOR of the depth charts. This approach has me all sorts of Monty Burns hands.

That's a really nice swing, and some tasty looking pop for a high schooler, reaching base in all 23 games played this season and showing he can hit dingers and extra base htis with authority and regularity.

Another higher upside guy. This is getting crazy

I mean they can't sign all these guys. Surely not. But is it wrong to hope?

Exactly. My realistic hope is they sign 4-to-5 in the 11-to-20 Range. OR they've absolutely crushed the under slot uniformlh 1-thru-10. I think 4-to-5 is a pipedream but a reasonable One.😅

Absolutely a pipe dream, but I'll go dreaming with you big man!

I'm waiting for the really high pick that signifies we're in the "backup" pick section of this draft rather than the "we think we can sign you within our budget"

Also interesting is how the Brewers, due to Levonas, went heavier on college arms last year at the start of the draft (and Caedmon Parker still didn't sign) whereas all in on HS players this time around

Here's a thought

Say the Brewers have $1.5m in slot savings coming into these later rounds

Plus the 5% overage that lets them get another $600k

And the $150k per player before that bonus kicks in

We could realistically pay $540k to five different players which could do the job, especially if some are less high priority than others. If you narrow that to four, we're talking just shy of $700k per player on average which certainly seems doable

Lets dream baby

I dont care if this is metal, we're talking about a high schooler hitting a pitch 430 ft

Yeah well I could definitely hit a ball 430cm when I was in high school

Yeah, I could definitely hit infield singles. And those came few and far between. 😁

One thing I missed on Brock is that he's a 3 year JUCO guy not a 2 year JUCO guy. If he doesn't sign then he's a senior sign next year. Would need a monster season to get a big bonus in 2025.

I do wonder if the Brewers new facilities at Low-A Wilson in any remote way entice any of these upside lotto hs players who will most assuredly start 2026 in the Carolina League or Arizona.
