As I’ve said, I’m fine with dropping Contreras in the lineup, but it’s not like you have 6 far superior options. This board talks about Contreras like he’s Chad Moeller. He’s been meh, not atrocious. Could we use more offense out of him, yes. Is the injury likely costing him some production, yes.

Eric Haase is a 32 year old journeyman with over 1100 career ABs. He’s what a backup catcher looks like. It’s not like there’s all this upside there to unlock.
