Id guess it’s Patrick not Myers. Myers just isn’t stretched out to be an actual starter. He hasn’t had a fully stretched out start in over a month in a half.

Myers threw 66 pitches against the Mets 2 weekends ago. I was thinking about the stretched out thing though and with Hall out we might need Myers before Sunday in long duty. Hopefully not. If Patrick can be called up and then sent down without too much disruption it's probably the better chance for not taxing the bullpen.

Myers was sent down for Rodriguez a couple of days ago, Not sure what the shuttling rules are, but I'd be surprised if Myers is brought back up to start on Sunday. 

Is Rodriguez a possibility?

Also with Myers he can't be recalled from AAA until 9/3 because he needs to be down for 15 days. It would require an IL stint to get him back up.

Sounds like a Mizz Rodriguez piggy back on Sunday. Better that than Miss Piggy, I suppose.

Carlos in all likelihood goes down after the game tonight to make room for tomorrow’s starter…….probably Patrick.
