Just a thought … may be a dead horse subject … Yelich would help this team so much if he became our LH option at first base in 2026 along with being one of the DH options. He would be 1.5 years removed from back surgery & would give us far more roster flexibility.

Ok, bugs me we don't have a run yet....but remembering last game, so I need patience.

AS FOR THE LINEUP. This is my favorite playoff lineup. I know Hoskins for Vaughn and Ortiz for Monestario. But Hoskins needs to come back and show his power for me to sit Vaughn. I love Ortiz but Monestario looks like his OPS is for real. I'll give up the defensive outs Ortiz gives us for that. In both cases platoon ok with me. (Monestario just made a great play as I write this).

Pitching I really don't know who fills out the roster. Starters: Freddy, Jose, Quinn, Brandon. Don't trust Miz's pyschology...so Long relief. Uribe closes....sorry, he's proven he's the man.

Seems like the brewers did ok by sticking with  Mona s as our utility infielder at the deadline.
