Absolutely brutal AB by Chourio.  That pretty much derailed the inning.

Swinging at the slider out of the zone. That's 2024 Chourio coming back to haunt.

That ab is why I would swap Turang and Chourio or even Collins. Chourio just has not shown the discipline needed to hit in that spot.

It’s such a selfish AB.  He was in swing mode from the moment he stepped in the box.   He needs to start laying off that inside fastball.

He had to know what was coming. Churio just cannot lay off that pitch, especially in clutch situations.

The big hits just haven’t been there much lately.

Needed the center fielder to throw that sac fly off someone’s head and into the stands like, last night to get more than 1 run.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I will say he's been a lot better at laying off that pitch this year. But not then.

Might be one of his best catches.  He ran a LONG way to get there

Chourio’s catch reminded me of Yount reserving Juan Nieves no-hitter in 1987

Miz has great stuff. I trust him the least of all our starters, though. He seems like a clear playoff bullpen guy, but do I trust him enough for high leverage? I don't know.

If we can't get Hall, Megill, etc. back, I think Miz has a spot for sure. If we get some guys back, though? It might be best to shut the guy down. I can imagine a few scenarios where he's only a mop-up type option, and, at that point, why push his arm?

I don’t trust him yet

He’s a flamethrower but he’s not a pitcher - especially a big league playoff pitcher
