Hopefully it's a case of Contreras feeling close to 100% rather than talking his way back into catching.🤷‍♂️.

I thought they settled into a batting order w/the LHH of Frelick leading off, Yelich 3rd & Turang 5th, which is my preference. Apparently not.

Manny "the punk" Machado is the one player in all of MLB that I'd like to see get drilled with a fastball to the thigh, ass, or someplace else that won't jeopardize his career, every time we play them.  Just can't stand the guy.

I remember what he did to Jesus Aguilar like it was yesterday.

Which is where my hate started...

I feel that way about Willson Contreras & Molina (retired)

I don’t trust Freddy to be our game one starter in the playoffs. He has had a great season no doubt … but he can be wild & inconsistent. We’ve had an incredible year but all the recent pitching injuries have me concerned that we will experience another early exit from the playoffs. Hope I’m wrong, but I anticipate more heartbreak. I don’t feel nearly as confident with Freddy as I have in recent years with Burnes & a healthy Woodruff.

There is no one else to pitch.    At this point he’s like one of our only two starters

It doesn't matter.  There is no real option.  Woodruff is probably done for the year.
