We’re all here because we’re Brewers fans.  We all fan differently.  I don’t personally care for the “everything’s fine” no matter what posts.  There’s negativity because they haven’t been playing well and there’s a fear that they’ll carry it over to the playoffs and be bounced early again.

No one says it should be all positivity but look at this thread for example and read the first few pages. Then look when they score and see ahead and it’s quiet. People only post when they’re losing. When they’re playing well the GT is like 4-5 pages long

It seems several posters are likely the President of their local community “Fun, Fair, & Positive” sports leagues. That’s definitely not my tribe.
 

When the Brewers play well, I affirm & compliment their play. When they play poorly, I post accordingly knowing that some on the board will express disappointment because Milwaukee is having a great season overall.

There is actually something to that.   I often go to sleep before the game ends.  I will sometimes check the site to see how everything went and sometimes you can tell by how many pages the IGT is.   It’s easier to be negative than it is positive.   Especially in a game of failure.

I guess my perspective is what's the point of having that fear? It's either going to happen or it's not. if it does we can all be pissed/mad/sad/mad at that point. No need to borrow grief from the future and suffer twice.'

I try to be a realist and realistically we are a couple innings a away from wrapping up the most successful regular season in franchise history. And we also may struggle in the playoffs. But one of those is happening and worth celebrating and the other one remains to be seen.
