Not feeling confident about an elimination game on Saturday with no starters available

Peralta & Priester completely collapsed in important games that could have advanced the Brewers to the NLCS

Chicago has all the momentum as we await a winner take all series finale in two days

awful feeling after a 2-0 lead

How quickly they forget...

I hope Murphy finally has removed his in-game smiles AND gets serious.

I am hoping he is not auditioning for the comedy circuit somewhere ... Come on, Murphy ... enough of this "wonderful crowd" in Chicago talk and enjoying being in this moment talk.

Let's get serious, and win a ball game here!

Get that chip on your shoulder!

The front office absolutely has to swap Gasser for Myers for Game 5

Might as well swap Durbin for Manny Machado too since neither are allowed.

Not as many that can play CF.

Perkins and Frelick. That’s enough. We scored a total of 0 runs tonight. We are worried about the wrong things.

Here’s the lineup I would put out there on Saturday.  Screw the L/R matchup crap, it’s do or die so get your best 9 in the order:

1. Chourio, RF

2. Frelick, CF

3. Yelich, DH

4. Contreras, C

5. Vaughn, 1B

6. Bauers, LF

7. Turang, 2B

8. Durbin, 3B

9. Mona, Ss

SP: Patrick

Exactly. Mark A and this organization are content to just make the playoffs. The only hope we have is that our young homegrown core grow and peak their way to a championship before they take off in five years to play for the Dodgers and Yankees.

Mark A: “What if the real title was the summer of family fun we had along the way?”

As depressed as I am about today...who is it on Saturday? Shota vs Miz/Quintana?

I'd think maybe ask Chad Patrick to start on Saturday and just try to air it out for two innings. Maybe they can get two-plus or three innings out of him. Then you could have Miz and Quintana as potential pitchers for that 3rd--6th Inning range. Mears would be the "break glass in case of emergency" guy for the early frames.

But the offense needs to show up in a big way for Game 5.

To be fair...it would be a tie game going to the 9th.

Maddux was not all that great in the postseason in his career. Neither was Glavine. Smoltz was the Braves #3 and I'd take him over those two in a heartbeat in October.

Not saying it is what I would've done... just why I think he is there.

Sure it’s allowed. Gasser got “injured” today.

I don’t want our season to depend on an up & down talented but inconsistent rookie flame thrower

It's either FLAME-UP or FLARE-OUT!

At some point you need someone to step up.  Miz did.  Many others didn't.  The team needs a jolt of energy.  Let the Miz do it.

Yelich better not be batting leadoff again.  And once again bad Peralta reared his head when it mattered.

Peralta wasn’t great but again — doesn’t matter much when you score 0 runs.

Not a rule against carrying another 1st baseman.

Lockridge was fine.

tonight OTOH was one of the worst offensive performances I’ve seen in a playoff game.
