Probably got away with that timeout, but cashed in the opportunity.

Need the defense to shutdown this last possession of the half.

Yeah, that one was a bit suspect.  I watched the official MLF was running towards and he didn't move until after the false start.

But the Wicks and Watson catches were legit...but looked close the way the TV was showing them. Lions fans will complain as if we are getting the Chief's treatment.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Toyotathon is no joke

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Do they have one penalty on a kickoff all year?

No clue, but knowing Bisaccia I'm sure we'll get one at the worst possible time

Yeah... don't know if when he yelled for the TO, but that was huge for the Packers.

Probably kicking it.

Some huge catches on that series including Musgrave keeping the drive alive with a chunk play, Watson with some really good hands and Doubs also. Those short passes with that velocity on it away from the body...

Offense looks exactly like you want it to vs a good team. Defense needs to get the stop.

Let them off the hook multiple time in long yardage situations that drive. It's going to be a fight. Stop kicking the ball in the end zone, you can't give this team good field position all game.

And another series you couldn't keep them out of the endzone after a huge drive.

You've had two opportunities to create some separation. I mean, I didn't expect it to be easy, but the D needs to come up with that big play.

It's like Chourio hitting a 3R HR and then Peralta giving up a 3R HR after that.

One weakness our defense has is the shoulder tackles.  If Valentine wraps his arms around Williams instead of trying to blow him up, they'd be kicking a FG instead.  A lot of the younger DBs tend to do that. 😡

Well, on the positive, we have a 3pt lead on the same number of drives.... Our pass rush disappeared after dominating early.

Can MLF manage a 20 second drive and a FG?

If we got it at the 35 every time like Detroit it would have been worth a shot but that felt like trouble, glad they took the knee after the failed pass on 1st.

That was... AWFUL... but I actually thought that was a strength of our defense. They do wrap up and rally to the ball and... DON'T give up that type of plays. They give up chunk plays over the middle and they give up some long drives, but I thought they'd been much better under Hafley.

That is such a huge missed tackle. Even if you don't bring him down, pursuit gets there. You had 2-3 guys who were right there if he just... grabs a ****ing leg!

Had the wrong guy on that one to make a play. Valentine's tackling leaves a lot to be desired and as we saw there that can be a pretty big negative for a CB.

That's true. It's been a pretty clean game.

This is the biggest 30 minutes of the season so far IMO. Can you finish the game vs another contender. They're either in 1st place with the Bears, Broncos and Bears coming up or... they're in 3rd place with 3 straight games vs 1st place teams. That's quite the swing.

Getting back to that Pass Rush to move Goff off his spot(where he's terrible), MLF's level of aggressive play calling and if he is aggressive, Love's ability to move the ball will decide the game IMO.

Of course, a turnover could also swing the game, but that's always the case.

MLF is the suppressant on this team. This just feels like yet another game that shouldn't be as close as it is and we are a 3rd quarter opening drive away from trailing. I don't get it. Trying not to beat the dead horse but it's just nauseating. I appreciate this is a good half on the road against a good team, but can't quite shake the feeling that it shouldn't be this close with how they're playing.

We’re in a tough environment against a good and motivated team. Up three at the break, so it could be worse. But the defense had a really rough second quarter.
