Sorry if already discussed here, but do we have any idea of a timeline for Joey Broughton? He was a guy I was really intrigued with coming out of that '24 draft class (with Dorchies, Renz, Dubanewicz, etc.).

Broughton has been healthy and full go since last September from everything I’ve heard.  There was actually a chance that he was going to make his pro debut late last year, but they are taking things slow with him.  The organization just opted to start him off in the Arizona Complex League and so he should be with the ACL team when they start their season the first week of May.  I expected him to head straight to Wilson, but I guess I should’ve tempered my expectations a little especially coming back from injury.

Garcia has been participating in extended spring training games and expects to be added to the Warbirds roster a week from today if all goes to plan.

Garcia heads to Wilson tomorrow and he will be joined by RHP Jacob Morrison who is expected to fill the TBD on the list of Warbirds probable starters that was posted today.

Is Frank Cairone on track for the ACL?  Haven’t seen anything recently on him other than the spring training article when he did some light pitching drills.

Yes, Cairone is expected to be ready at some point during the ACL season.  He is looking to make his pro debut sometime late May, early June.

That is absolutely incredible.

I was hopeful for a recovery and that he could get back to doing normal things, but to hear he may be ready to play professional baseball within months of a serious health issue is just amazing.
