I find it hard to believe that it will be Patrick starting Wednesday on 3 days rest.  It would be a normal rest for Crow and they skipped Gassers start.  Will it be one of them?  Thoughts?

Of course they're not starting Patrick on 3 days rest, right? The... what, 11th game of the year? Why would you consider risking it.

Gasser should get the start and... Crow is on the roster(40 man) also, so if you could make two moves, that may be a good idea.

It's a long year, we're doing alright without Chourio(who I thought was on the verge of a breakout year), Vaughn, Priester, Henderson limited.

There's just no reason to push it with any of our young arms.  This was pretty much the ideal place for Tobias Meyers... but despite the results, watching Sproat, the risk-reward on that trade looks like it could be a huge win for us.

Maybe they go bullpen day if Woody and Miz go long with their starts? Or maybe they send down Koenig and let Gasser be a 6 man rotation for a bit.

I watched much of Crows' start on Friday & thought he commanded all of his off-speed stuff really, really well. Personally I'd give a slight edge to him over Gasser as to who I'd rather see but I think either would be deserving.

It's a day game so you have a full 48 hours before they play Friday night so I think a BP day is doable but I'd rather not go that way.

It would be tough to have a bullpen game as the sixth game in five days. Most of the bullpen guys have already thrown two days in a row (Sat. and Sun.).

Unless there is an injury to a pitcher I don't believe Gasser/Crow have met the 15 day minimum stay after  being optioned.

Gasser was optioned to AAA on 3/22. Unless the clock starts on opening day, he would be eligible.
