We really don’t have a closer right now.    You can’t pitch Ashby 200 innings.     Hell.   Woodford might have had a better inning there

If Ashby had stayed in and given up a HR to one of the RH hitters everyone would have said Uribe should have been in.

Ultimately you had a one run lead with with two innings left.   It’s doesn’t matter if it was 8-7 or 1-0.     At some point you have to show the ability to close these out.   Our top relievers haven’t shown much at all this year.
