Because he was on fire for the first two games he was back and hasn't been that great since then. Overall average is not relevant to a point about how bad he's been today.

Chourio hasn’t hit well since his initial 4 for 4 game. Hopefully, he becomes more patient & gets into a good rhythm. No opposing pitcher will throw him strikes if he keeps hacking at balls outside the zone.

Great game, but Chourio, my goodness dude. These pitches aren’t even close. You’d have 2-3 walks today if you wanted them.

But you have no clue. He has done that since a rookie. >.303 is good.

He really needs to learn to take walks. The free swinging approach is limiting his ceiling.

I enjoyed Durbin while he was here, and I'm very much enjoying him getting us Harrison.

I just can't believe we got him for a couple of utility players. I hope Arnold gets a lifetime deal at some point. Red Sox FO has to be one of the most impatient bunches in baseball.

The most frustrating part on Chourio last year and so far this year on the chasing out of zone pitches is that during his rookie once he get on the hot streak from June-ish on he was not doing that. I remember saying the most impressive part was how he was taking his walks when he started getting pitched around a bit.  Since then, its been the opposite

Numerous people are commenting on his flailing at pitches out of the zone and the fact that he looks so bad TODAY. No one is saying he sucks as a baseball player now and forever.

Pitchers are figuring hm out maybe. MLB is a billion dollar sport.

As improbable as it seems some days, this line-up doesn't need Chourio to think he is Joe Carter. Just take what the pitcher gives you, and his talent will put up the numbers.

I think the Brewers and Red Sox make really good trade partners because we seem to excel where they lack when it comes to pitching development. They also excel at some things better than us like improving bat speed for their hitters. If they want to keep sending us pitchers that they can't max out I would be all for it.

Well it seems that Rengifo positive regression has finally come.  Good to see, huge progress if one of the blackhole spots on O can just be adequate

Yes he needs to progress but 10 for his last 33 is ok by me.
