Aside:  Really hoping that Contreras can get his slugging back to where it was in 2023 and 2024, so when he drives the ball like that into the gap even when it's an out I'm hoping it's a good sign.  That would do wonders for this lineup.

UW-Whitewater just eliminated from NCAA playoffs.  Tough break for a team expected to do some damage at the World Series.  Shows how important matchups can be though.

I agree with that.  The guy has won 3 national titles and UWW has become a powerhouse.

That said, not a guy I’d want to have a beer with.  20 years ago at UWW, the guy had a reputation and not a good one.  But I’d imagine that is true for most athletes and coaches… very talented but not pleasant people.
