Not sure I agree with taking Vaughn out of the lineup just yet, although generally speaking I don't mind using Perkins as a late inning defensive replacement when he's on the roster. I just don't think it's all that late yet.

Agreed - limiting your offense a bit last 3 at bats on an offensive night seems like a risk if the Cubs keep chipping away
