Terrible start for Gasser to compound that with losing 4 of 5 going into the break, in theory this is the perfect time to have a break. Team is not playing anywhere near it’s best ball.

Crawling into the all star break yet again, a Brewers tradition like no other.

Is it me or do they seem to have a losing stretch heading into ASG. And their record against the Pirates is particularly poor.

A great first half for this team, then a bad series to cap off an okay week. Definitely a good time for the ASB.

Hard to complain too much being 5 games up at minimum. They'll have to play well in the second half, but I think this team has outperformed expectations and battled through some tough injuries. Hopefully we can get some hurlers back to health and take advantage of a pretty soft schedule.

Dont need a game thread this one is already over. Pathetic effort to go into the midsummer classic. Most irritated I have been at a halfway point with a team this good. The fricking wheels are just falling off with injuries. Miz and Harrison have me deeply concerned.

After all that’s happened the first half cubs probably feeling ok going into second half

I mean with that payroll they should. Theyre still not gonna go anywhere with how bad of a rotation that is. Also PCA is about to fall crash back down to earth I can feel it.

Yeah they should be deep in rearview mirrors but I have a bad feeling they hit a hot stretch and really challenge for the division while the brewers try to find anyone who can start, and anyone who can hit with runners on base.

I don’t think it’s an annual thing but they have had some bad ones, and the Pirates have been responsible for a few.

will albert puj... sorry, i mean valdez, ever be retired?

Although he hit that ball hard he would have been retired by a competent major league third baseman.

I don’t think I’ll be watching any more of this. It’s bad enough that the Brewers are mailing it in, but I don’t need to listen to one of the Pirates announcers crowing about it

I can always come back if I see that the Brewers have made a contest out of it.

Quick look. For the final 3 games leading up to all star break, we had 2 winning series in the past 5 years, and 2 sweeps against

2021: 0-3 v Cincinnati

2022: 0-3 v San Francisco

2023: 2-1 v Cincinnati

2024: 1-2 v Washington

and then the real highlight last year 2025 sweep of nationals

2026: 0-3 v Pirates

so it does seem like a mostly annual trend. Yikes. Can we just skip the weekend before the ASG

it obviously wasn't intentional, it was an 0-2 count against a left-handed batter at that.

it's like the broadcasters were defending o'hearn being upset about it.

In 2018, the Brewers lost five straight to the Pirates heading into the all-star break. So yes, this is a tradition like no other.

So I can look forward to a game 7 vs the Dodgers?  Great, hopefully Miz is pitching.
