So when does Lara start leading off.  He would be ideal.

he would be my choice to lead off vs both lefties and righties.

When Christian Yelich or Pat Murphy retires, whichever comes first.

I don’t understand the bullpen usage today with a road trip starting tomorrow. Why not have someone go three innings (7-9) rather than burn through three arms?

You have 5 guys pitching 1 inning or less is fine with me.

I think San Francisco is one of my least favorite places for the Brewers to play.

I don’t like the late starts anywhere, and that park seems to give the Brewers problems.

Agreed - we always seem to struggle in San Francisco. Can we trade for Logan Webb before we have to face him on Wednesday? That guy absolutely kills us.

I understand allowing hitters to pitch, but its just bad baseball to watch.  Especially a guy throwing in the 60s

I saw someone say MLB teams should carry emergency pitchers like hockey has emergency goalies. In a situation where a position player would hit you use your emergency pitcher instead of a position player. Kind of a silly idea but I thought it was pretty cool.

Yeah. Anderson has a rubber arm, Yoho threw I think 15 pitches, Ashby basically did little more than warm up. Wilson might be down tomorrow, Patrick probably since he threw two days in a row. BP is OK. Now Sproat needs to not blow up so it can stay that way.

Pratt has amazed me lately. Not that I had no belief he could contribute, but he's really starting to do damage pull-side. THAT was something I thought might take a while. And then you watch Lara go out & just play, like he knows he belongs. I was advocating for Lara moving up to the 1-2 spot, but since he's obviously comfortable & heating up I'd just leave him where he is rather than chase hot streaks & play batting-order roulette. Both him & Pratt, leave 'em be.

As the hamate issues get further & further in the rear-view mirror, seems we're seeing a little more of the 2025, drive-the-ball ABs from Vaughn. That would be fun.

Maybe Tyler Mahle will have the blow up game tomorrow.

Pratt is hitting well.   Just keep it going
