I've not piled on the offense too much it seems like it just keeps getting worse.  This is getting brutal.

So, I don't want to hear anyone grousing about not getting to bed at an acceptable time tonight.   Something told me when Harrison's control in the 2nd inning was AWFUL that a Grand Slam was coming.  And it did and I turned it off.

I'm probably close to done as an East Coaster.  I'd probably stick it out but the current state of the offense doesn't provide much hope.

And we're off to another 0 for 3 with risp.

We have just absolutely cratered hitting with RISP since June 1st.

They are just bad hitters.   It doesn’t really matter if anyone is on base.    They are just bad at hitting

Jake Bauers has had a really nice season, but that’s kind of the thing.

Jake Bauers should not be the best hitter on the lineup of the team with the league’s best record. That is an offense that did not work out well.

Kind of funny that barring the offense making a crazy comeback that Wilson is probably going to get DFA'd again tomorrow.

He's throwing straight stuff right down the middle and we still can't square it up

Same thing was happening last night. This offense is making a lot of bad pitches look good by not swinging at them or not doing any damage at all.

Kind of egregious that Arnold picked Bae up off the scrap heap rather than trading for someone like Pablo Reyes or Abraham Toro that’s been in the minors all year and thus trade eligible. Could’ve gotten them for nothing,

"The Brewers take the most pitches in baseball." -- yeah.. great. Pitches they should be doing damage on but refuse to swing the damn bats.

If tonight is indicative of anything, they also pop up, foul off, and roll over the most BP middle-middle fastballs.

This 100%.

The mishandling of Andrew Vaughn is the other mystery to this season.

But severely obese Vogelbach is super chummy with the guys. Seriously, who is having a good season with him? bauers? You Could say Turang but I’d argue he’s been on the rise long before

The thing is Hook is the most important Brewers coach. It is obvious coaching matters. If they haven't learned this watching Hook with pitching it's a shame. Why wouldn't you get the best hitting coach you can find?

I will never get over the report from Ken Rosenthal that we only targeted Harrison and Drohan for Durbin but then we decided we wanted Hamilton so we gave up Monasterio, Seigler and the 67th pick to get Hamilton back.  Talk about going from an epic win of a trade to just adding pieces for no reason to make it worse for yourself.

Durbin, Monasterio, and Seigler have a combined WAR of 5 this season, and Harrison, Drohan and Hamilton have a combined WAR of 4.8 this season, for those who wore themselves out running victory laps around Fenway earlier this season.

When's the last time the team with the best record in baseball looked so bad? I don't even recognize this team.

Going on almost two months of this type of baseball.
