Joey Ortiz better have been too injured to play. Bae being a walking trash can cost us 5 runs and the game because he couldn't handle a bouncing ball.

It was also a stupid play by Hamilton. He had an easy double play by throwing the ball to 1st base with the catcher running. He throw a horrible ball to the 2nd basemen.

Sure would be nice to have a guy like that on our roster. Too quick with the DFA.

Unless you said that when it happened.... come on

Yes it was a dumb decision from Hamilton but Bae needs to make that play. He better not be playing because they are doing some dumb platoon situation with Ortiz

There is no justification for Bae being on a major league roster - much less starting a game. We can do better. Too much talent in the minors to watch him on a good team.

If they felt comfortable playing Vaughn at 3rd twice this week, and he made 0 errors, then he should be playing ahead of Bae.  Hell, play him at 2nd, couldn't have been worse.

Watching Rengifo hit a salami against us after months of complete ineptitude feels like a fireable offense in itself for our hitting coaches.

He shouldn’t even be on the roster

The Padres announcers thought a triple play was coming, and it might have been if our regular infield was playing.

Harrison has been getting clubbed in his last 6 starts. We lost the Durbin trade, those taking a victory lap did so prematurely

Harrison in his last 6 starts before tonight had a 3.10 ERA and 2.50 FIP

And he might be able to hit a ball to the outfield even though he has been scuffling.

It will be interesting to see if we get a game on this trip.    Brewers might be on fumes.    I didn’t think so but they look terrible

What reason do we have to believe that he was ever going to turn it around here, given that far more talented hitters than himself aren’t doing jack for us right now?

I’m including tonight and his 5 ER and less than 5 innings pitched inevitably.

Dillard get so excited about and rambling on about Rengifo afterward should be a fireable offense.

The one thing I think we can agree on is Murphy is a master motivation guy who works well on a set team roster. He also is terrible at lineup bullpen management and the injury problems have him working on the part of the job he's horrible at. It's going to get worse.

Another bomb given up by Brewer pitching. When are they going to realize that you can't throw a pitch down the middle and expect good results? Harrison just sucks tonite, at a time where the Brewers really needed him. The lineup would struggle to be competitive in AAA. Still time if they can somehow begin to hit.
