We cannot keep trotting Contreras out there every day.

Raleigh is hitting .158 for Seattle with virtually no peer compared to last season after signing his extension

We are not going to score on Yamamoto.

We are not going to score on(insert random pitcher)

You could pretty much post this every day

Except for that clown last night.   I still can’t believe he’s their closer

I guess the moral of the story is don’t extend catchers.

Raleigh is looking like Chris Davis 2.0 right now.

Not many people have [scored on Yamamoto] this year

How many complete game shutouts does he have this season?

I believe almost every team has scored on him.

I was thinking about this today in regards to Contreras. I wonder if the Venezuela stuff has really messed him up mentally this year. He just hasn't been the same since that happened.

Obviously not close to the same thing, but he showed some pop in Spring training at least. Idk, I'd pay big money to have a team with some slug. The brewers don't seem interested in it though(I dont want to hear about the guys in the minors, they are of no help to the major league club right now).

I promise you, Lockridge is not the ticket to slug 😂

I wonder if Contreras even remembers what being fresh feels like after catching almost every day for years.  I suggest bringing Naylor up for a couple weeks and see if a break helps get Contreras going for the final stretch.

Yelich is in the running for the Chris Davis award too

I thought the Contreras option for 12 million was a no brainer now I can't see them picking it up at this point. Welcome to the Bo Naylor era.

Not saying he is, but I want SOME semblance of power. I don't care who it comes from. As long as the Brewers keep thinking it's irrelevant for the MLB club, they will never get over the playoff hump. It's just baffling that for an organization that people everywhere praise as being so smart, they never have any interest in power whatsoever. I mean think about it...Murakami was available this last offseason and he signed a really cheap deal with the White Sox. How good would he look in this lineup?

There is absolutely zero chance they don’t pick it up. Zero. Decent chance they pick it up and trade him, but there is no planet where they decline $12m.

I cannot believe we are even having a discussion of how a man with a career slugging percentage 30 points lower than  Craig Counsell might be a solution to our power woes.

Their recent draft strategy would disagree that they have no focus on slug.

Chris Davis lost it.

We'll still have him through arbitration but he won't make $12 million.  He might get lucky and get to $11 but it won't be as high as his option.

Did you read what i said? I specifically said for the MLB club. Those guys are future guys. They ignored it last year and they ignored it this year, that is indisputable.

I'm not sure. If he gets on track yeah but if he finishes around 230 with defensive issues I could see it. They know him and what's going on with him but the fact it's even a question is stunning.

You literally said Lockridge could hit one out every once in a while despite never hitting a home run for the team.  lmao

Have to hope a pro player is going to be mentally tougher than that
