AAA Nashville sent out RHP Coleman Crow (30.1 IP, 4 R, 29 Ks over last 5 starts) try to claw back from a 2-0 series deficit at Norfolk. C Ramon Rodriguez makes his first start (second appearance) since a late June injury.

Coleman Crow with his second scoreless outing in a row. Feel pretty good about him making a spot-start for MKE if needed. Nice starter depth to have stashed at AAA.

Nice to have Cameron Wagoner back pitching again. I’d like to see him get a chance to impact the big-league bullpen before the season is over.

Wilson have been outscored 29-4 through 2 losses at Salem, but look to start turning the series around tonight behind RHP Miqueas Mercedes (29.1 IP, 4 R (3 ER), 29 Ks over last 8 appearances). CF Brailyn Antunez has a 1.247 OPS through 87 Low-A PAs and is riding a 6-game hitting streak.

The AA Shuckers have dropped 13 consecutive games and need a win behind RHP Manuel Rodriguez (4.95 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, 7.8 K/9 in 109 IP) at Rocket City to avoid a 3-0 series deficit. SS Jesus Made and 2B Dylan O’Rae lead the Southern League with 117 hits and 50 stolen bases, respectively.

19-year old RHP Ethan Dorchies threw 6.2 shutout innings with 9 Ks last week and can lead High-A Wisconsin to a 2-1 home series lead over Lake County tonight. 3B Eric Bitonti has 3 homers over his last 4 games.

But the interesting thing is that the hit was against Caden Vire. Yeah that Caden Vire. Who now threw a wild pitch and it is 6-1 Warbirds.

Casual minor league follower here. How has Biloxi lost 13 straight with those hitters in the lineup?? Terrible pitching?

The pitching has been absolutely brutal and the offense has also been slumping. Losing Burke and Ragsdale didn't help matters.
