Please, let’s focus our comments on what we think about the team, the game and events around the league.

It rarely makes sense to criticize another poster. Even if we perceive their opinion contradicts evidence or realty 🙂

We can simultaneously recognize Milwaukee as one of the best run scoring teams in the league and also be frustrated at individual plate appearances.

Murphy can be the best and the worst during the same inning.

Drohan obviously can’t also be in the bullpen. Interesting day for usage with an off-day tomorrow.

I will be furious if someone contradicts realty….

This morning I saw that Turang leads the team in RBI.    I’m sure he has lately but I cannot remember the last time he drove in a run

im actually kind of surprised he has 75

I would imagine Anderson is first up out of the pen tonight, probably followed by Senzatela. Wilson could get extended work in a multi-run game, and Patrick/Ashby for emergency, one-out appearances only.

Phil Dunphy would be appalled if someone would contradict realty.

Those Realtors can be vicious. 😃

LFG!  I want a sweep.

and a Dodgers loss today

I want the sweep if only to wrap up the tiebreaker against the Braves. You never know if that might come in handy

I had a little league game on ESPN before and they showed a plane landing at the local airport. They announced that “the Brewers have arrived“.

This is a message board. It’s ok to disagree. Or do you disagree with that? Imo, it’s nice to be civil. While disagreeing.

The team from Curacao has one of their alums, Ozzie Albies. playing in the game so they should have a decided Braves' leaning. Similar flavor to two days of Madison residents in Am Fam wearing Braves' gear because of Drake Baldwin.

A little touchy re the pen today if Drohan doesn't provide length. After the day off tomorrow I'll be interested in seeing if they stay w/the six-man rotation. I think they will, especially since they can add an extra arm in a little over a week.

EDIT: Just saw the above re Gasser. So they might just skip one turn, or they could be setting things up for Crow. Stay tuned.

Anderson and Wilson available, for sure. I bet Megill would take a save situation with off day tomorrow.

If we’re skipping Gasser, he could probably throw 1-2 IP, too. Only 79 pitches last start.

Brewers using the off day to skip Gasser……..

I’d guess they are doing the same thing with Gasser that they did with Drohan this week. Throw out of the pen on Tuesday and then have his start pushed back to Saturday/Sunday. If they do this and keep up the 6 man rotation they would have the top 4 lined up to face the Cubs in Wrigley.

Yelich has been awful in 19 AB versus Mahle.  Hopefully an easy decision to sit him today.

i’m hoping for:

2B Turang
LF Chourio
RF Bauers
1B Vaughn
DH Wild Bill
C Sanchez
3B Ortiz
CF Lara
SS Pratt

You think Mitchell sits vs a RHP?

This feels to me like a day when a Chourio or a Bauers might get off his feet & DH.

That probably means that Sanchez and Contreras are in the lineup.  Not sure what that means realtive to our perceptions of bullpen availability.  On the surface it seems like a bullpen arm would have been useful.

I wonder why they give teams  an extra player for this game?

Yeah that's weird. I thought it was just for double headers? I guess this is why:

After playing the first two games of the series in Milwaukee, the two clubs will head to Williamsport for the finale, so they'll each get an extra player for the contest.
