And there’s the flip side to this game.  This isn’t a major league field.  Very very rarely do you see a players feet come out from underneath them on a MLB field

Just tuned in an inning ago. Noticed no strike zone box on the broadcast. Does this park have the technology for ABS or are they playing with no ABS challenges tonight? 

And, yeah, when that sod ripped up on Hamilton, my first thought was "minor league field conditions".

That will leave a mark.   Now, the question is do they keep him in the game or immediately get ice on it and sit him down for the night?

That takes care of the overcrowding in the outfield problem.
