Cubs lose again, Brewers up big early, we need to stop with the day to day overreactions. This is Milwaukee’s division to win. I’m scoreboard watching the Dodgers and the dodgers only.

And the Braves.

Sure but with 30 to play I’m more concerned with the dodgers. They have a cupcake schedule with that weak division.

Hard to be annoyed by scoring 4 but FFS guys.  Turang is trash

It’s crazy how people hate on Yelich and Hamilton but yet Turang seems to get a pass. He’s been brutal in August

Agree, total cupcake schedule.  My view is it's pretty hopeless to stay ahead of the Dodgers.

People are gonna scoreboard watch the Cubs whether they think they’re still in it or not. It matters regardless for the purposes of your magic number, popping champagne, it matters when you clinch for rest purposes, etc. just the way it is.

I think Turang is a really good player. Glad he is a Brewer.

People have been ragging on Turang for weeks.

Does that not fit your narrative?

It also matters that we finish ahead of the Cubs, why, because we don't like them, and they are in our division.

I'll be watching the standings daily,

I don’t actually think he’s trash but man he needs to figure it out.

Geez,

No question he has been brutal at the plate lately but he’s such a good defender.

When you are leading all 2B in baseball with a 5.4 bWAR in August you tend to get a long leash...

I just don’t get why people hate on Hamilton so much. Doesn’t make sense. He’s hitting much better in August even if his box score doesn’t really show it. Tons of line outs

Lara looks fast in the field but slow on the bases. This is just my eye test and nothing to back it up.

Good throw and he’s toast

I have LA-Atlanta up on a second screen and Olson hit a HR off the foul pole. Made me try to remember the last time a Brewer hit a HR off the foul pole and I'm drawing a blank. Anyone else remember?

Personally I hate when he tries to bunt for a hit instead of driving a run in and leaving it up to the next guy.   That happened a lot more towards the beginning of the season

All this squirrel talk has made me wish they went back to talking and Vinny and Jeff's friendship.  If only there was some kind of sporting event to discus.
