3 nights in a row of scoring early and adding on for comfortable wins.

Good for the blood pressure.

And my blood pressure needs all the help it can get.

Remember when people were freaking out about "when", not "if" the Cubs would pass up the Brewers?

Pepperidge Farms remembers...

People were posting the odd that the Cubs would pass them by the end of the month.  I sincerely hope no one on here went through with it.

Jacob Misiorowski is 24. Logan Henderson is 24. Kyle Harrison is 25. The Milwaukee Brewers are young. The Milwaukee Brewers are nasty.

Cubs have a slight chance just because they play 7 against the Brewers yet but if they go into Chicago with 8 game lead, Cubs would have to go at least 5-2 to even have a slight chance

3-4 or higher and it’s gonna be almost impossible for Cubs to catch the Brewers unless they completely choke or cubs go insane run

At this point I don’t think 5-2 is good enough for the cubs.

Shoutout to the HP umpire. One of the best ump performances of the year. Only one challenge today for both teams also

Don't know about that. I thought the zone heavily favored the Brewers today. I think we got like 10-12 calls incorrectly go our way.

Honestly, I wonder how many Cub fans are running anon to irritate us Brewers fans on this site?

Keep rooting for the Cubs. Craig Counsell may be on the hot seat because fan frustration and media scrutiny over the team's performance and decisions. 🤣

The Chicago Cubs hold a 2026 adjusted payroll of roughly $241.1 million (ranking 7th in the MLB), which is about $97.5 million higher than the Milwaukee Brewers' adjusted payroll. 🤣

Random sleuthing after the game (obviously this comes with a bunch of asterisks) ...

Corbin Burnes since leaving Milwaukee: 5.7 WAR

Joey Ortiz/DL Hall with Milwaukee: 6.2 WAR

The Cubs are great at the things Counsell can control. He can’t do anything about their god awful pitching.

The Cubs still have like the 4th or 5th best record in the league. They are a dangerous team, just no match for the Brew Crew.

It's really hard not to be optimistic about our world series chances right now. Just about everyone on the offense right now is hitting the ball well. Misi, Henderson, Harrison, and May looks like it should be able to hold its own in the playoffs. The bullpen has probably been the biggest strength for over a month and we will be getting back 2 of our better chess pieces within a week or so.

They have an owner worth 2.5 billion dollars and Mr. Wonderful Jed Hoyer that should be worth something. Or. Maybe they should do it the old-fashioned way and draft better.

P.S. I despise the Cubs now. I was a fan back when Banks was playingRemembering Ernie Banks, 5 years after his passing
