How much NIL money do the Badgers have left?  How about giving Kyle McCord a 2 million NIL deal?  After all, he's never appeared in an NFL regular season game.  Why should he have to be irreparably harmed by being forced to play football in 2026 for $885,000 when a different entity would pay him $2,000,000 to do the same thing?  As long as he's enrolled in classes, why should he be prevented from playing football if he is a student at the university?

Wisconsin legislature better get together really quick and authorize another 30 million to pay dumb jocks to play football.  Nothing is more important than to keep that state football team competitive.

Western Michigan should have gone for it instead of kicking the fg but the refs screwed them

I would really like to see NCAAFB bring in a new division.  D1 would be your bowl eligible non NIL and limited transfers within the league.  Then a new league created for CFB playoffs consisting of 50-100 teams.  This is where players will be able to transfer at will and earn NIL money.

Once a player transfers from a CFB team to a non CFB league they have to stay there until their senior season.  Teams can move in and out of each league once every four years.  Once a team moved they have to stay in that league for four seasons.  If a team goes from CFB playoffs to non CFB playoffs any players that remain with the team will still get NIL money.

I think this would give the best of both worlds.  People who don’t want to see a NFL minor league can skip out on that and watch the bowl division.  For the ones who want to watch a more competitive league they can watch that.

Once the cat is out of the bag, it will be impossible to put it back.  No way teams and players are going to give up the $$ for Bowl games.  We already see NFL draft picks skipping the Bowl games...

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."
