MLB Network did an hour covering the Brewers and 30 min with Tim Dillard.  I like Dillard seems many people dislike him on this site,

I do too. He’s not perfect but he’s not bad and has in my opinion been improving with more experience. I think some people just like to complain about broadcast personnel.

Hell, I remember people complaining about Sophia saying “he said “ when translating a Spanish speaking player’s response for the audience. I mean, what else is she supposed to say??

Dillard, when in the booth for Brewers games, sometimes seems like he's playing the Tim Dillard character on a sitcom.

When he's being interviewed? He's much more natural and relaxed and sharp (and still quite funny and entertaining).

I like him generally. I like him most when I hear him on podcasts or in non-game settings.

Dillard is a class act.  My daughter and son-in-law were in Pittsburgh on Sunday before the All Star break.  They were walking close to Dillard after the game and he went into the hotel.  They went in and asked him if they could take their picture with him.  He was very, very cordial and talked with them for a while, too.

I remember when we were in Colorado -- he took time to acknowledge the Brewers fans.  This is a story I hear often.  Of all of the interactions I have had with any of the on-air personalities, it has been nothing but joyful and full of class.

This almost goes back to the people who don't like how Levering calls a game.  My goodness -- baseball is supposed to be fun.  Let's take it easy and not be stuffy...

If the Brewers don't win the division I should be banned. However, they will.

That's exactly it for me.  He's great at everything, except doing games.  He has too many moments where it comes off like he's trying too hard.  Hes a great middle reliever, just don't try to stretch him out.
