Dave Roberts is a good guy. He's been getting a ton of grief lately. It will increase exponentially now.

He's  the last guy who should be getting grief.  As Roberts said - they ran into a hungry team on a mission and got beat.  It happens.

I give Murphy grief, some he deserves, some he doesn't, but he did what a lot of other Brewers managers couldn't, and that is a BIG FREAKING DEAL!

It has been years since I have been here. Watching and living the Brewers since the 90's, seeing the change in the 00's, into what they are today got me reminiciting about all the time we have all put in over the years. It got me to come back here just to see the happiness from people just like me and I can't help but being thankful for all the great times that this team has given me. I hope you all are well and soaking this all in. What a time to be a Brewer fan.

Long live Brewerfan.net (and our softball team!)

I am trying to decide if I even believe this. I mean, they just did the stuff they do all night. It was incredible. I don't even have a list of thoughts. We are going to the World Series. We are going to the World Series. I have never gotten to see anything like this. This is the best team in franchise history.

I am going to give two thoughts:

1) Shouts to Shane Drohan, who was walking a high line, but got the job done in a very difficult circumstance.

2) We were better than the Dodgers. By a mile. All over the diamond. They couldn't hit situationally. They couldn't close innings. They couldn't square up our pitchers. All they had was four great starters who we just completely wore down.

I don't know how I'm going to feel once the World Series starts, but this is about everything I've ever asked for as a Brewers fan. Thank you to this team and to everyone here.

I always believed that I’d see the Brewers win the pennant someday. Always.

But never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that they would do it in this way. The most dominant team in baseball? With everyone in the league cheering us on? With a group of guys that are so easy to cheer for?

No, I would never have believed that.

And thank you for some real insightful stuff all season.

About wearing down their starters---I don't know if that isn't the single biggest factor of all. Glasnow was about as impressive as you could ask him to be through three innings. By the 5th inning he was gone. I know, it's the post season, you go to the pen at a moments' notice. But the way they turned things around after once through the order was just beautiful.

It was such an amazing performance by this team. They faced FOUR A-plus starters in a row, and beat every one of them. That's as good as it gets.

Revived my old brewerfan.net profile to join the party. Don't have much to add, but I am happy for all the old heads as well as the new fans. Celebrate! It's happening.

I don't know about that.  He took a 400+ million dollar team and got his ass kicked by a small market team that was really hungry, and looked like they had something to play for.  The Dodgers looked like they thought they were on cruise control for another championship.  Someone is going to have to answer to that.

Man, thank YOU! Always know I'm getting good stuff when I see your posts.

This place is great. It's great even when the IGT sucks or the team is struggling. It's especially great tonight. Glad we all get to celebrate in public and the virtual village.

I could never free solo anything, but I have to think watching Brewers postseason baseball is about as close as I'll ever get. A lot of the time, you're waiting to fall, but we climbed the rock tonight, and it feels so good.

These Brewers tied for second to last in home runs but scored the second-most runs during the season by “dragging pitchers to hell,” as scrappy outfielder Sal Frelick liked to say.
