Mass Haas, thanks for all the time and effort you put in.

I forgot how much fun it was last year reading through the Hot Sheet every week last year. Lets just hope the Brewers are represented as much, (or more), this year.

you should also remind BA that it was the hurricane, not Alcides who got caught corking last year...

BA has removed that reference upon hearing from us -- nice catch...

This week's installment is out. This great picture of Yo currently on BA's homepage may give you an idea who is #1:

I think that's a typo. In BA's top 100 players in the minors there are three Brewers: Gallardo, Braun, Inman.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

With Gamel and Green we are pretty set at 3B.. oh and that Braun guy in Milwaukee...

That said thing about Gamel is where are you going to move him? 1b with Prince there? RF with Hart there?

Granted he is in hi A only so a few years to figure it out..

Could Gamel play rightfield? I assume he's got to have a pretty good arm if they want him at 3rd. But can he move or is he a plodder?

The Brewers are WOAHfully short on corner outfield prospects. My guess is that Gamel hasn't been moved yet because his trade value at 3B is much higher than at LF.

No Brewers on this week list, but the boys at BA tossed this blurb out:

The Brewers strike a lot of folks out. High Class A Brevard County righthander Will Inman tied Triple-A Nashville righthander Yovani Gallardo for the minor-league lead in strikeouts with 98. But other than all those whiffs, both pitchers were raked last week.

Yeah, Yovani had on ereally bad start, but Inman raked? Will's been "rakeless" in 2007:
