7/18/05 Brewers (Santos) @ Cardinals (Morris) 7:10pm CST

[badgerfan.tgf]

So we leave the bases loaded last inning, Vic gets squeezed big time to the Pujols, Edmonds, and Walker on a few pivotal pitches and then forgets how to pitch all together.

Man I hate playing the Cardinals. Just when you think you're sailing along, Pujols comes up with two outs and they end up rallying for 2, 3, 4 runs or whatever.

But fear not, Bill "or I should say" Schroeder says this is gonna be a slugfest so don't go away!

jj on the right side of te mendoza!

Let's see, this game is basically over and we are playing the team with the best ERA and most runs scored. We are also playing on the raod where we've been miserable. Little bit more than ONE inning. You are basically saying they will win 2 of the remaining 3. Yehhhh.

---

Four runs down and 6 innings left against a less then sharp matt morris is over? That's giving up a bit easy, hope the brewers dugout doesn't feel the same way.

Winning 2 of 3 isn't out of the question whe you have Sheets, Davis, and Cappy going in those games.

Sweet bunt when your down by 4...and pinch hitting.

[rluzinski]

Really nice to see a bunt attempt by Durington with 1 out and down by 4 runs.

Hardy's last 3 AB resulted in hits from ground balls that found a hole. I guess his luck is averaging out. He's also 17 points from a .600 OPS. Gatta start somewhere!

[Ennder]

I don't like sac bunts in general, I especially don't like them with 1 out and down by 4. I just don't get it.

[bsglorydays]

Good move IMO to pull Santos. Let the bullpen try to keep it close and try to get the bats going enough to get back in this game.

Asor al ed Egroj.

Please.

I believe that was a poor attempt at a bunt for a base hit.

True, but I think we can all agree that if we don't win tomorrow we'll be heading to Cincy with one or less wins in St. Louis.

[brewmann04]

is hardy over 200 yet with his 2-2

[NlGHTWlNG]

Yeah, he is at .202. Pretty nice to see.

[bsglorydays]

C'mon Rickie... the ball ate him up.

No way that is a hit. That was E-4 all the way, IMO.

[Sheets4theHOF]

I personally think that was an error by Weeks.

[badgerfan.tgf]

What the hell game is this ump watching????

[NlGHTWlNG]

JDLR please.

[badgerfan.tgf]

See you guys tomorrow.

They should give Eveland a shot here

[ThePurpleStorm]

Well lets see here. Can we just rid ourselves of the crap players on this team please? Obie is terrible.

[Worm8181]

[bucky2win]

Weeks is having one of those nights again.

[endaround]

JDLR should be coming in anytime now.
