Well bsglory we disagree. Seems that most don't like managing early in the game. I disagree. I think getting a lead is important and the guy following Kent was, well....no Jeff Kent. If you walk Kent you have a force play at each base and you have the best hitter out of the way. Just a difference in philosophy I guess. If you look at the series almost all of LA's runs are due to Kent and Drew. The rest of their lineup is like Milwaukee West and we shouldn't let those guys beat us time after time.

Wow 13 pitch AB by Geoff after going 0-2............ends up in a pop up tho...http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif

Well that steal atempt by Lee looked no worse than a tie and second, in slow motion. Of course, the ump has superhuman vision and can see better than me in regular speed.

Yeah, I'm not opposed to walking Kent early in the game. I just don't like doing it with 2 outs. At some point you have to get the best hitters out. Just a difference in philosophy as you said.

I still believe that Lyle Overbay is a lousy defensive player. Why no discussion about catching the line drive. He is, after all, a major league player Bill.

Probably a poor choice in RF. If he lets it drop, one run scores and there are runners on the corners. Of course, its easy to say sitting by my computer watching the game on TV.

Well, look on the bright side; we don't have to waste away the rest of our Sunday watching the Brewers anymore.

Bill Schroeder is a complete moron. He's talking about "playing the %" by pitching around Werth. Apparently the % entails seeing what he did in his last AB.

intentional walk/wild pitch/Run scores.

I love the Brewers

Who is the next #5 starter for the Brewers? Does Ben get another chance? Eveland? Parra? Maddux seems to work well with the lefties, maybe we give Dana the call. I just think Obie and Glover are done at #5.

Good to see the #5 starting pitching slot is turning into an automatic lose like every other year.

Fun game for 2/3 of an inning atleast.

I think the spot will go back to Glover unless he pitches like crap here, which he probably will.

Otherwise, I wouldn't be shocked to see de la Rosa get a start in the future, or lil Ben to get recalled.

So is the Obie as a starter thing done yet? Or do we ignore the fact he couldn't go three innings again because he pitched three good games over a season and a half?
