great job there. Pretty much K'd the side using two pitches, fastball in and changeup down and away. Could see the trend right away, and he milked it all inning

I know it's early but we have really let Wood off the hook. He is all over the place and we run/swing our way out of innings. Jenkins still hasn't swung at a strike. 1 run and Wood is struggling. Need to get to the pen by the 6th.

Jenks' at-bats so far:

Ball, Strike (swinging), Strike (swinging), Ball, Strike (swinging), G Jenkins struck out swinging

Strike (swinging), Ball, Strike (swinging), Strike (looking), G Jenkins struck out looking

Three balls, five swings and misses, and one called strike.

Ouch.

Could have just been nerves that first inning.Cappy has good stuff,he just needs to stay healthy.I dont see a better starter on our tean besides Sheets/Davis.

78 pitches for Wood...40 Strikes 38 balls...

How do we only have 1 run?!?

Oh yeah, I forgot....Nedly tried to have Damian "sweet feet" Miller steal 3b!!!

PRINCE!!!!!!

The "boy who would be king" hit another HR in his first game at AAA....Powell said he's done it in his first game at every level.

Here's hoping we see the trend continue in the big leagues.....

At least a handful of those "strikes" were balls that we swung at, too. He couldn't hit pavement if he fell out of a truck today.

I havent been able to watch any of this. Whats the story? Seems like we are running ourselves out of innings and not coming up with any key hits.

LOL. Jenkins ran down that ball, spun, and fired as far and as hard as he could in the general direction of the infield. The Cubs fans are lucky he didn't guess wrong and kill somebody in the upper deck.

Yuck.

Clark got picked off first and Nedly tried a hit and run with Miller on secondbase and Capuano at the plate. He swung and missed at the pitch and Miller was out by 10 feet.
