I need a new baseball team to follow. Suggestions?

I've been a Braves fan for a long time.

I think ever since I found a Chipper Jones rookie card. It's a really cool card and he's been one of my favorite players ever since.

Well...........Im moving to Scottsdale, someday. So for me it has to be those exciting young Diamondbacks. I just wish theyd bring back the purple, and not have just "DBacks" on their jerseys.....

I've been a D-Back fan since their inception in 1998 as I moved to AZ the previous fall for my teaching job (Fall '97). I'll always love the Brewers but it's also pretty neat-o to have followed a team since they first began play.

I like that team out of Warner-Robins....

I have been really enjoying the Mariners this year -- they keep just hanging in there. I also respect what the Phillies have done this year given their awful start.

I agree with others the D-backs are a good team to root for as well..

DougJones43 is rocksolid in my book.

Though I have watched very little Detriot Tigers baseball but the Tigers just seems like a good alternative baseball team for me to follow. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I've always liked the Padres - going back to '84 in particular. I really like them this year, and believe they will be the NL representative in the World Series.

Mine would be the Reds and Indians...I guess I like Ohio.

I've liked the Reds for various reasons but Griffey and Adam Dunn are awesome to watch. Griffey has been my favorite MLBer since he was a rookie.

The Brewers are technically my "other" team, but they've totally got me, as my baseball outlook has been warped -- when the Yankees pulled within 4 and the panic started permeating the streets of Boston, all I could think of was how awesome a four game lead would be in the NL Central. If there were no Brewers, in addition to the Sox, it'd be the Braves -- my other other team. (I also had a super awesome Chipper Jones rookie card.)

I enjoy the Blue Jays (started following them when Overbay left), as well as the Marlins (fun to watch Miggy, Uggla, Hanley and the gang).

I grew up a diehard Orioles fan, back in the 70's and early 80's, but I've basically been heartsick over the franchise during the Peter Angelos era. So I'm also shopping for a new second-favorite team -- probably in the AL, so as to avoid competition.

I suggest Brewer 'fans' not give up on their team, who - like it or not - is still very much contending for the NL Central crown. This thread makes me ticked off, though I understand its harmless (& frustrated) intentions

Toronto and Atlanta. Followed by Anaheim, Cleveland, and San Diego.

Toledo Mudhens.

If they are good enough for Klinger, they're good enough for me!

Oh, and Brian. A's and O's huh?

So you dig the blood group teams?
